The 834 HIPAA 5010 TR3 Guide shows the 2500 (FSA) loop as being excluded. Could you please provide the reason why the 2500 loop is not being used?
Is there any official guidance or standard alternative location in 834 that could be used to send the FSA information? Any type of information that I can get to understand this better and find possible ways on how we could structure the FSA information in the current 834 HIPAA transaction will be greatly appreciated.
EDI partners need to send FSA data as part of the enrollment 834 transaction.

Not all loops in the standard are used in an implementation. The 2500 Loop is defined and made available in the future versions of the 834.
