The ASC X12 835 Health Care Claim Payment Advice 0050X221A1 (835) does not support credit card payments (VCC).
RFI Recommendation
EFT payments made via the ACH Network are encouraged as they are supported by the current 835 TR3 and CAQH CORE Operating rules and are part of the HIPAA Transaction Set.
