Description
The extranal code set: 576 Workers Compensation Specific Procedure and Supply Codes are listed as a source in the 837 transaction. The source IAIABC is not aware of these codes. Is there a know source. Thank you for your help.
RFI Response
Workers' compensation specific procedure and supply codes are maintained by the individual states and jurisdictions responsible for the administration of the workers' compensation systems. Accordingly, these codes may be found in the state-specific fee guidelines and billing regulations for workers' compensation medical bills. The IAIABC has recently been made aware of this issue and is investigating the ability to create a central repository for these codes.
